The Sustainable & Inclusive Solutions: Summit & Exhibition is an annual flagship event of the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development focusing on solutions for sustainable & inclusive business as well as development.
Since 2006, the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development launched the Sustainability Summit to build a connection between the global communities on issues which accelerate the change to a sustainable future. The theme for 2012 Sustainability Summit is ‘Sustainable & Inclusive Solutions: Summit & Exhibition’.
The emphasis of the event this year is on – Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Innovation for a Sustainable Tomorrow, Biotechnology, Sustainable Supply Chain: Transforming Markets, TEEB for Business, Transforming Business for Tomorrow’s World, Value Creation with Good Corporate Governance, Sustaining the Environment: Protecting the Climate, Stakeholder Engagement, Public Procurement & Transformative Solutions and Next Generation Infrastructure.
The Sustainability Summit is organized in amalgamation of a conference and an exhibition since last year.
The conference continues the legacy of the Summit by bringing the thought provoking leaders into action through a process of sharing their achievement and strategizing for the new challenges ahead. The conference featured distinguished speakers and sustainability leaders from around the globe. Several thought-and-action leaders, senior Ministers and Members of Parliament, key bureaucrats, best brains of Indian industry and MNCs will also be an integral part of this sustainability event, this time around as well. The Summit & Exhibition was attended by over 300 participants representing all stakeholders including experts, from industry, government and civil society from India and several countries across the world.
The exhibition caters the partners and participants with ample space to demonstrate their miracles of technology which proves to be role models for sustainable and inclusive solution. The exhibitor are the experts from industry, civil society, central & state governments, NGOs, social entrepreneurs, institutions and many more from India and rest of the world. The key exhibitors this year include ITC, Vedanta Group, Ambuja Cements, Wipro Ltd., Novozymes South Asia Pvt. Ltd., Ambuja Cements Limited, Wipro Ltd, CII-FACE and IGBC.
